- Tom Ray was born on August 2, 1919 in Williams, Arizona, USA. He was a director and assistant director, known for Madame Doubtfire (1993), Transformers (1984) and Dino-Riders (1988). He died on April 6, 2010 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA.

- Worked on Warner Brothers cartoons from 1937, variously under Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng and Robert McKimson until 1963. Subsequently at MGM and Hanna-Barbera until setting up his own company, Tomstone Animation, in 1998.
