Sci-Fi Action Thriller 'Primal Games' Trailer with Hannaj Bang Bendz
Image
"I decide who lives and who dies!" You do? Uncork'd Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for a sci-fi action thriller movie called Primal Games, being dumped on VOD this May in a few weeks. The entirely uninteresting title is already an indication this won't be worth your time - and the trailer below will confirm that. "Primal Games is a relentless, high-concept survival thriller with strong performances, brutal action, and a unique edge." A newlywed couple heads on the honeymoon of their dreams, only to become unwitting participants in a sadistic vacation experience. Trapped in a deadly game designed for the thrill-seeking elite, they must fight for survival and uncover the shocking truth about their existence before it's too late. In a world where nothing is as it seems, primal instincts are their only hope. It's a generic action movie with a sci-fi twist, I guess, though it just...

‘Primal Games’ Trailer – Newlyweds Fight Back in a Most Dangerous Game
Image
Only the elite will survive when Primal Games releases on Digital May 6 from Uncork’d Entertainment.

Based on the trailer below, the indie action/sci-fi/horror/thriller mashup seems to draw influence from Richard Connell‘s classic 1924 short story “The Most Dangerous Game.”

A newlywed couple’s honeymoon turns into a waking nightmare when they are thrust into a sadistic survival game created for the world’s thrill-seeking elite. Hunted and outnumbered, they must fight to survive and uncover the truth about the twisted reality they’ve been dragged into.

Hannaj Bang Bendz, John Love, Gary Kasper, Mark Wood, Liam Matheson, and Ryan Livingstone star.

David Ryan Keith (The Redwood Massacre) writes and directs for Clear Focus Movies and Epic Squirrel Productions.

“Primal Games is a relentless, high-concept survival thriller with strong performances, brutal action, and a unique edge,” said Uncork’d president Keith Leopard. “David Ryan Keith has delivered a...

Nicolas Cage and Russell Brand in Army of One (2016)
Don't Mess with Ellen Hollman in Action Thriller 'Army of One' Trailer
Nicolas Cage and Russell Brand in Army of One (2016)
"Thought you were dead..." Uncork'd has released an official trailer for an indie action film titled Army of One, featuring "rising action star" Ellen Hollman (who has a role in the upcoming The Matrix 4) as "1st Lieutenant Brenner Baker of the Army's 75th Ranger Division". Not to be confused with the Nicolas Cage comedy also called Army of One from a few years back. While out hiking, Special Forces Ranger Brenner Baker stumbles onto a Cartel's compound. Her husband's killed and she's left for dead. The Cartel made two mistakes, killed her husband and left her alive. They won't live to make another – now she's coming after them. The cast also includes Matt Passmore, Geraldine Singer, Gary Kasper, and Cam Bowen. This is pure jingoism action filmmaking with the added benefit of watching a badass woman take down bad guys. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Stephen Durham's Army of One,...

Frightfest 2020: ‘Redwood Massacre: Annihilation’ Review
Image
Stars: Danielle Harris, Damien Puckler, Gary Kasper, Jon Campling, Tevy Poe, Benjamin Selway | Written and Directed by David Ryan Keith

Writer/director and seemingly one-man filmmaking factory David Ryan Keith was previously responsible for two films I absolutely adore – 2017’s Ghosts of Darkness (Still yet to receive a UK physical release) and last years The Dark Within. But prior to those he made his second feature, The Redwood Massacre, an old-school slasher movie shot in Aberdeen (of all places) that didn’t exactly set the world on fire on release – it has its fans yes, but its not one of those must-see genre films… Which is why it was surprising to see, some 6 years after that films release, we’ve got a sequel in Redwood Massacre: Annihilation!

Twenty years ago at the infamous Redwood Farm, the owner went mad and killed his family and himself. Shrouded in urban legend ever since,...

Red Band Trailer for Horror Sequel 'Redwood Massacre: Annihilation'
Benjamin Selway in Redwood Massacre: Annihilation (2020)
"She's not the one I'm worried about..." Uncork'd has released a trailer for a horror sequel titled Redwood Massacre: Annihilation, a follow-up to David Ryan Keith's original The Redwood Massacre from 2014. Horror icon Danielle Harris comes up against the axe-wielding maniac of Redwood. Twenty years ago at the infamous Redwood Farm, the owner went mad then killed his family. Shrouded in urban legend ever since, a stranger obsessed with the unsolved Redwood killings convinces a group of the bereaved family to venture into the wilderness in the hope of proving the existence of the notorious burlap bag-masked maniac. Their quest for truth sees a sinister turn of events, as the hunters become the hunted and a blood-soaked fight for survival ensues when they find that the sinister tales told of the axe-wielding psycho farmer are very real indeed. Of course. The cast includes Damien Puckler, Gary Kasper, Jon Campling,...
