However, Boruto has found its audience, who tune in every month to see the new developments in Boruto’s journey. Opposed to the monthly schedule of the manga, Boruto anime aired weekly for more than five years, with 293 episodes in total. There were many anime original additions and anyone would expect it to be a bad thing, as fans are usually disapproving of fillers.

However, Boruto anime excels at using filler content to add more depth to the narrative. In this aspect, the anime was leagues ahead of the manga. With the anime on a hiatus, fans are eagerly looking forward to its potential return. But, Two Blue Vortex might get rid of one great aspect of the anime, and that is a shame.
