On the film side, he starred as Saul of Tarsus in "PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST" alongside Jim Caviezel, and has appeared in "BEN-HUR" and "FUGITIVE PIECES".
A classically trained stage actor, he has performed in more than forty theatrical productions across genres, earning Greece's Best Stage Actor award in 2008 for his performance in The Theater of Art.
As a director, he has helmed numerous plays in both Europe and the U.S. In addition to acting and directing, Yorgos is a published playwright and literary translator, having translated major works from English, French, and Spanish into Greek.
