  • He once had a motorcycle accident on August 7, 2006, which took him almost a month to regain his conciousness.
  • After retiring from karate club in his school, he moved to the theater club and would then wanted to become an actor and wanting to enter Osaka University of Arts, but failed the entrance exam.
  • He unwittingly joined Aoni Production's training school after looking at its advertisements on a theater magazine. At that time, he didn't know that the school is a training school for voice actors.
  • He debuted in 1994, voicing a student in Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4 drama CD, and had his first TV anime role voicing a minor character in Tsuyoshi Shikkari Shinasai.
