- Brenda Michiko Kamino (born November 6, 1951) is a Canadian actress, teacher, writer, director and painter. She is best known as Dot Yasuda in the TV series Carter (2018), The Glass Castle (2017) starring Brie Larson, and the web series Warigami(2018). Over the past forty years her television appearances number in the hundreds, notably Lost Girl, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Side Effects, recurring roles in Train 48, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, children's shows Fred Penner's Place and Mr. Dressup; and pilots Befriend and Betray, Ultra and Hotel Babylon.

She has appeared in such varied plays as M Butterfly (1993) and (2004) suicide notes through to original comedies (2013) Ching Chong Chinaman and (1995) Mom, Dad, I'm Living with a White Girl.
