Peter Jurasik

Trivia

Peter Jurasik

Edit
  • Best friends with Andreas Katsulas, his co-star on Babylon 5. Their professional chemistry was such that they rarely needed more than two or three takes to complete their scenes together, and they got along quite well with almost all the cast and crew. Jurasik and Katsulas would often improvise together to pass the time between takes during the long shooting schedule, which would often leave others in stitches, such as when they recorded an "infomercial" for the Book of G'Kar while in full costume and prosthetics.
  • Author of "Diplomatic Act", a science fiction novel which is partially based on his experiences on the Babylon 5 set.
  • Teaches as a Guest Artist at University of North Carolina - Wilmington.
  • His name is frequently mispronounced as "jurassic". The correct pronunciation is "joor-uh-sik".
  • Peter Jurasik and Bruce Boxleitner appeared together in both TRON and Babylon 5, though they had no scenes together in the former.
