- Has portrayed Ed Sullivan no less than six times. (Crazy Day (1978), The Buddy Holly Story (1978), Le Roman d'Elvis (1979), Les Doors (1991), Mr. Saturday Night (1992), and Bye Bye Love (2003).).
- Invented the phrase "Really Big Shew" for his Ed Sullivan impression--Sullivan never actually said that on his own, except when playfully imitating Jordan's impression.
- As of March 2004 he was living in New York City, still active as actor and impressionist.
- Son of Clara and Theodore Rauch. His parents were Jewish immigrants, his father from Poland and his mother from Romania.
