Trivia

Jackie Joseph

Edit
  • Had three children with her ex-husband Ken Berry: two sons, Joseph Larson Berry (November 29, 1962 - December 5, 1962) and John K. Berry (John Kenneth Berry; May 3, 1964 - January 9, 2016, adopted, died from brain tumor at the age of 51), and one daughter, Jennifer Kate Berry (April 1, 1965 - September 21, 2020, adopted, died from natural causes at the age of 55).
  • Friends with Jo Anne Worley.
  • Co-founder and president of the Ladies Club (also called the Hollywood Dumpettes), a support and recovery group for divorced wives of stars, often after many years of marriage.
  • She and her first husband, Ken Berry, had a son, Joseph Larson Berry, who died in 1962 as an infant. His remains were interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California.
  • Probably best known as Audrey in the original La Petite Boutique des horreurs (1960), the somewhat dim girlfriend of Seymour Krelboin, who created a man-eating plant and named it after her.
  • Longtime columnist for the "Tolucan Times," a local adjudicated newspaper serving Toluca Lake, CA (a suburb of Los Angeles).
  • At one time hosted a daytime talk show on Los Angeles station KHJ (now KCAL), Channel 9.
  • Interviewed in Tom Weaver's book, "Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Flashbacks" (McFarland & Co., 1998).
  • Is it not true that Jackie Joseph acted in Doris Day's film With Six You Get Eggroll? And is that why Doris thought to put her in as Rose Marie's replacement.
