    • Colorful former Major League baseball player, 1966 to 1985. Played for the California Angels, Chicago White Sox, Oakland As, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers & Chicago Cubs. Was a member of 3 World Series Championship teams in 1973 (Oakland As), 1978 (New York Yankees) & 1981 (L.A. Dodgers). Known for his offbeat personality, one of his former managers was once quoted as saying, "The thing that makes him unusual is that he thinks he's normal & everyone else is nuts."
