Geoff Johns is an award-winning and New York Times bestselling writer, producer, showrunner, and entrepreneur, known for redefining iconic characters and mythologies across comics, film, and television. He is best known for his influential work on Green Lantern, The Flash, Superman, and Stargirl-a deeply personal creation inspired by his late sister, who tragically died in the crash of TWA Flight 800-as well as for his creator-owned titles Geiger, Redcoat, Rook: Exodus, and Hyde Street.

In television, Johns is the creator and showrunner of the critically acclaimed Stargirl series. He also co-created The Flash and Titans and served as executive producer on Doom Patrol and Superman & Lois among others. Some of his produced film work includes Wonder Woman (executive producer), Wonder Woman 1984 (also co-writer), Aquaman (story), and Shazam! (executive producer), based on his graphic novel collaboration with artist Gary Frank.

In 2023, Johns co-founded Ghost Machine, a groundbreaking creator-owned media company composed of industry-leading writers and artists. Designed to upend traditional publishing models, Ghost Machine gives creators full ownership, creative control, and financial participation in their work.

A Detroit native of Lebanese descent, Johns was honored with a permanent section at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, recognizing his impact on storytelling and representation in popular culture.
