Biography

Bill Johnson is an episodic television director, previously an Emmy Award-winning editor. He attended Dartmouth College and began his career in the New York City feature film editing rooms of Jonathan Demme and others. He is known for his directing work on 1-hour dramas such as Justified, The West Wing, House, The Expanse, Game of Silence and many others. He has also directed the critically-acclaimed comedy Survivor's Remorse. As an editor, he won the Emmy for his work on The West Wing; he is also know for editing the feature version of Mystery Science Theater 3000. He can be followed real-time on Twitter @whiteshoes082.
