He was a composer and actor, known for V pour Vendetta (2005), Lost Highway (1997) and Un cri dans l'océan (1998). He was married to Ana Beatriz Lontra Jobim and Thereza de Otero Hermanny. He died on 8 December 1994 in New York City, New York, USA.
