  • Popular, sexy, highly glamorous supper club entertainer and recording artist who was a steady fixture for decades on the Las Vegas circuit.
  • Fran's second husband, actor-turned-director Richard Quine, featured her in a couple of his films: Une vierge sur canapé (1964) and A Talent for Loving (1973). Quine's first wife was actress Susan Peters, who was shot and paralyzed after her gun accidentally discharged and a bullet lodged in her spine while she and Quine were on a hunting trip in San Diego. Quine committed suicide in 1989 after years of poor health.
  • In the late 1960s and early '70s toured Europe with Sammy Davis Jr.,and Southeast Asia with Bob Hope.
