- He made his mark in Toastmasters with a Nationally published speech on the community aspect of giving in America "We sow that others may reap'. This concept of articulate word pictures was also recognized several times with awards as an instructor in Colleges he served at.
- He comes from a family of Musicians, his sister traveling for many years in concerts for Lowery Organ, his mom wrote a number of Gospel Songs in the 50s the most well known "He's the Master of Blue Galelee' Family members continue to work in Gospel Music a favorite family avocation.
- Has three sons, Christopher in the Navy, Brian active in the Mixed Martial Arts in California, and Kevin living in Arizona.
- He has a unique history. Worked on the recovery end of the Corona Project. Then went to the Honoluu Police Dept. and began acting in Hawaii. After completing degrees in Psychology and Justice Management at Chaminade University began teaching at college level. An avid fan (and instructor) of Photoshop, is still active in Photoshop art and photography.
