Biography

Daniaile Jarry is a writer/exec producer/literary manager specialized in international co-productions. An Honor's graduate of McGill University in Anthropology, Languages and Cinema, she speaks 5 languages. After an apprenticeship in the business world as a project manager, Jarry moves to France working for RHI Entertainment on "Crossbow, The Adventures of William Tell" one of the first US/UK/France TV series shot entirely on location in France. Acting as Agent/Manager of film and TV director George Mihalka, Daniaile gains extensive knowledge of all aspects of the industry in Europe, Canada and the USA. She acquires solid relationships with the international film and television industries, funding institutions, sales agencies, distributors, broadcasters and develops broad contacts in production, distribution and above all, in the creative fields. She creates Quatrieme Vague Productions (QV Prods) and starts developing feature films and Television series. Her career as a writer/producer begins with "L'Homme Ideal" (The Ideal Man), her first feature film. This sophisticated French language comedy is an instant hit with the public and the critics. The highest box office in Quebec that year, "L'Homme Ideal" is nominated for best original screenplay and wins best original song. Hired as Programming Director, she joins forces with the Tremblant Film Festival, a Sundance inspired international Film Festival, winner of the Chamber of Commerce Best Cultural Event of the Year Award. Jarry creates Spectra 5 V Film (5th Wave) the international film and television division of Equipe Spectra where she acts as head of development, in charge of the creative. Over the next five years she creates concepts and writes feature films and TV series which are all in various stages of development and packaging. In 2014, she starts managing a select roster of European, Canadian and American writers and directors. In December 2015, she makes a strategic alliance with International Film Partners GMBH (IFP). Associated with Bavaria Studios in Germany, IFP is the premiere one-stop-shop for producers, distributors and financiers.
