J.J. Jamieson

Trivia

J.J. Jamieson

Edit
  • Father of triplets: two boys and a girl.
  • "Spring Break Shark Attack," Jamieson's brainchild, actually won a Tubie Award as the best TV Movie of the year. And Washington Post TV critic Tom Shales said it was in fact good enough that he'd watch it again.
  • "Christmas at Graceland" is Hallmark's 4th highest-rated movie ever, its #1 highest-rated movie outside of Thanksgiving weekend, and the #1 basic cable movie-for-television of 2018.
  • Taught a filmmaking course at Chapman University's film school (Dodge College) -- where his son Connor Jamieson '22 attended (though of course his son could not & would not take his father's class).
  • "Greyson Family Christmas" started as a Thanksgiving movie, but became a Christmas movie when the schedule got pushed. An independent theatrical film, it had an American domestic airing on Bounce TV and became the network's highest-rated movie of all-time to date.
