He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest," in the Stratford Theatre Festival at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford, England with James Dale, Gyles Isham, Pauline Letts and Dennis Hutchinson in the cast. B. Iden Payne was director.
