Anna Jacyszyn

Award-winning jazz vocalist and actress based in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. Known for her versatile musical interpretations and theatrical performances, she spent 20 years in England establishing herself in the European jazz scene, followed by 5 years in China expanding her artistic influence. She has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Emirates.
As a theatre performer, she has taken on leading roles at the Kelowna Actors Studio, including Donna Sheridan in "Mamma Mia!" (2018, 2024), Norma Desmond in "Sunset Boulevard," Domina in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," Betty in "White Christmas," and Mrs. Banks in "Mary Poppins."
Beyond film, TV and film acting, she is the founder of Jazz Café Kelowna and maintains several prestigious residencies, including headlining The Prohibition Party at Crown and Thieves Speakeasy. She leads The Anna Jacyszyn Band and produces various musical events, including the annual "Christmas Presence!" concerts and the Tiny Tim Breakfast for Salvation Army.
She has served as a weekly arts columnist for the Kelowna Daily Courier since 2013 and hosted "Whattaya Say, With Anna J" on Rogers Communications. Her contributions to the arts have earned her numerous accolades, including the Civic Award: The Honour of the Arts, the Okanagan Arts Award for Music, and the Spirit of Kelowna Award.
