David A. Jackson is Founder and President of the worldwide film and television production/ distribution companies, Showcase Entertainment, Showcase For Kids and SC Global Media (The SC Group). Showcase is a member of the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) and attends major film and television markets each year (i.e., AFM, the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin, NATPE, MIP TV and MIPCOM). Showcase was listed as having one of the best reputations in the industry by one of the major international trade publications. Over the past over 20 years, Jackson has successfully marketed well over three hundred feature films and television series throughout the world in all media that star Ben Affleck, Sean Penn, Hilary Swank, Tobey Maguire, Debra Messing, Kathy Bates, Kiefer Sutherland, Christopher Walken, Colin Firth, Robert Downey Jr. and more.

The pictures span all genres and his worldwide clients include Columbia/Tristar, Buena Vista, MGM, New Line, Lionsgate, HBO, Showtime, Sony Pictures Television, Lifetime, Oxygen, Sy Fy, Village Roadshow, Endemol, Nordisk, 20th Century Fox, BBC, BSkyB, TF1, Canal +, RTL, ZDF, Pro Sieben, Antena 3, Mediaset, Miko/NHK, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, HBO Ole and Cartoon Network, to name a few.

Jackson was previously the co-founder of Curb/Esquire Films (currently Curb Communications), where he also served as President. In addition, he served as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Curb/Musifilm whose partners included Universal Pictures. Amongst other things, Curb/Musifilm developed the acclaimed "sex, lies and videotape" which won the Palme D'Or in Cannes.

In 1990 Jackson negotiated a multiple picture production deal with RCA/Columbia (ultimately Columbia/Tristar) where he produced features with Morgan Mason ("sex, lies and videotape"), John Hardy ("Ocean's 11," "Erin Brockovich") & Jason Clark ("Ted," "Stuart Little"). Jackson also produced several films which were financed through foreign pre-sales. Most recently he Executive Produced the series "Flight 29 Down" for NBC and Discovery Kids; the animated "Ape Escape" for NickToons; was instrumental in getting "The Wannabes" made for Starz Family; & produced the feature "You May Not Kiss The Bride" starring Katharine McPhee, Rob Schneider, Mena Suvari, Dave Annable and Kathy Bates.

Further, Jackson is an attorney specializing in the area of Entertainment. Jackson served as an attorney at Capitol Records and was then recruited by MCA Records where he served as the Vice President of Business Affairs. Thereafter, Jackson went into the private practice of law where he represented recording artists, record and film producers and film distribution companies. Jackson is married to Shauna Shapiro Jackson, Executive Vice President of Showcase Entertainment, Showcase For Kids and SC Global Media. They have three children.
