Biography

Classically trained, Dana Jackson has played roles from Moliere to Stephen Sondheim working in major American repertory theaters, as well as, Starring, Co-Starring, and Recurring Contract roles in Feature Films and Television.

She has worked on projects with: James Wan, Steven Bochco, David E. Kelley, Doug Wright, Mark Burg, Adrian Hall, and Laurence O'Dwyer. Dana has also been invited to study with Don Richardson, William Traylor and Laurence O'Dwyer.

Dana has written, directed, and starred in the short indie film 'BloodSlop'. Whether she is portraying the hippy, teacher (BloodSlop), the alcoholic mother (Echoes of Innocence), or the religious aerobics instructor (American Generator), all of her roles are diverse and multifaceted.

Dana studied the violin (Suzuki Method) from age 4-12, and still enjoys playing Vivaldi in A-Minor. As an adult, Dana is writing, directing, and acting in her next project. And she is looking forward to be a positive contributor in your next project.
