Nikki Nova is a former Internationally published model, Playboy TV host & B movie actress. Although still involved in entertainment , she's now more of a media figure, due to her additional career/focus in integrative medicine & writing.
In the integrative (holistic) medicine field, Nichole (Nikki) is currently a Clinical Herbalist, Hypnotherapist, Aligned Essence teacher (Reiki based), and Death doula, as well as a psychedelics Advocate & facilitator.
Nikki Is also a published writer, having written for multiple magazines (under various pen names) since 2006.
Nichole "Nikki" was born in Hampton, Virginia. She attended/graduated from Phoebus high school, where she was also Homecoming Queen, her senior year.
After high school, she moved to Los Angeles, at 18. Although never having been there & knowing no one, she sold her car for airfare & 1st month's rent, then proceeded to move in with 3 complete strangers, and the rest is history. She was very happy in California & still says that move was one of the best decisions she's ever made.
Nikki has always been connected to the arts. During her senior year of high school, she was even given her own art class. One of her early jobs in Los Angeles was actually doing artwork on snowboards, for a snowboarding company near Big Bear, CA.
Upon her move out west, she was originally attending design school, but unfortunately couldn't continue to afford tuition. Around that same time (& immediate following years) she was repeatedly approached by various modeling scouts. Having already done some modeling when she was still in high school (traveling to NYC to do so, between the ages of 15 -17) She was already comfortable in front of the camera.
At 22 she was approached in a nightclub (by a photographer from Paris) while out with some friends. He shot her for a couple of different French entertainment/fashion magazines ,as well as the debut issue of a new American magazine. She was then scooped up by famed erotic photographer Suze Randall, and her unplanned career snowballed from there. She went on to be one of the industry's top erotic models, and was repeatedly published in just about every major men's magazine in the 90's & 2000's, as well as starring in several "B" movies & videos.
Nikki co-hosted a show for Playboy TV called Night Calls 411 (in the 2000's) as well as appearing as a guest & guest host on other PBTV shows, prior to Night Calls 411. Nichole performed in a live comedy show (2000's) called "The Red Light Comedy District" that toured the various California Improv comedy clubs, around that same time.
Shortly before the new year in 2006, Nikki suffered a nearly fatal TBI (Traumatic brain Injury) from a horse accident (on the set of job). She was forcefully thrown from the horse, landing head first on some rocks. The horse then lost its footing, and fell back off the ledge landing on top of her. Nikki's skull was broken upon impact, & she suffered multiple brain hematoma's. When paramedics first arrived on scene, they told others present (friends/coworkers) that she would likely not survive the drive to the hospital. She was then air lifted & flown to the trauma unit, of the closest hospital equipped for her type of injuries. Upon arrival Nikki was medically induced into a coma, in an effort to control/minimize the bleeding. Her friends/coworkers that were there at the hospital during this time, were told that it did not look good for her. She was originally not expected to live. Thankfully she did, but there were several years of recovery to follow. She was left w/ some permanent disabilities & other health issues, stemming from that TBI.
Due to the nearly fatal accident (& everything that followed) she had to leave the entertainment industry for a while. During her first few years of physical recovery, she was temporarily, (& quite seriously) mentally handicapped. During that time she was unfortunately targeted by various predator's (financial & otherwise). One of those unscrupulous people in particular, was very exploitative about what he did to her. That incident (along w/the stress from things to follow) is the main reason that she initially became incredibly private & changed her degree of accessibility by the public. All of that (combined w/ a very serious stalker situation) is what led her to begin taking steps toward a new and/or additional path for herself.
Her stalker situation escalated & the FBI got involved. It was learned through their investigation, that he was an obsessed fan. He had learned of her accident, when it was put on the news. As Nichole "Nikki" quickly learned, "Apparently when you're known you have no right to privacy".
What the FBI learned (aside from who the individual was) was that he was seemingly mentally unwell, yet also had a great deal of education/knowledge in Criminology (legal loopholes) & was a gifted hacker. The combination of these things, is how he was able to evade capture for years. This situation went on for 12 + years, forcing her into hiding and seclusion, during that time.
Nichole (Nikki) has thankfully survived that very lengthy dark chapter, but this was not the first challenging chapter of her life. In her early childhood, her father was killed, while working undercover, on assignment. He had previously been law-enforcement, but at the time of his death was working for the government, in a similar (LEO) capacity. She learned of his shooting via the news. No one in the family had had contact w/ him (while he was undercover) for almost 3 years.
In her early/mid 20s she was briefly married to a man named Pasquale Zaza, Eldest son of deceased Michele Zaza (former member of Camorra, Sicilian mafia & head of the Zaza family clan). Due to "instances" stemming from that marriage, she was forced to to flee California, and was on the run (from Pasquale) for a couple of years. During that time, she met the love of her life in Kentucky. He helped her get out of her previous "situation" safely. She moved to Kentucky and they got engaged. After his unfortunate death in 2001, she moved to Arizona. As of 2024, Nikki still resides in AZ. She has never remarried.
After the horse accident; during her time in hiding (stalker) she decided to go back to school (for Integrative/holistic Medicine). Her interest in the field had started back in the 80s, when she was 14 years old. Those years following her accident, that passionate interest, became a prominent role in her healing journey (physical, emotional, and energetic). Nichole's time in hiding became a time of healing; not just from her accident, but from all of the previous life chapters. She believes it is what saved her life. Nikki now views her past challenges as blessings that have enabled her growth & expanded her knowledge & compassion. She now dedicates her life to her integrative/holistic path, w/ a focus on helping others.
