That was unusual in Spanish cinema at that time and, of course, I was given all the roles of young leading men. Then I learned to speak and began to work in the theatre, a field that I have not yet forgotten," he recalled in an interview.

A career on stage and devoted to acting that he recounted in an interview in 2020 with David González for El Cierre Digital: "I am in charge of two acting schools and I am filming a medium-length film about Alzheimer's. It is a reality that affects me closely, since two of my aunts died from this disease. My mother died with a great head because she dedicated herself to studying daily for her job," says the actor.
