Akumi Agitogi started the My Happy Marriage light novel series in 2019 and since then, it has become one of the most popular romance stories of this generation. As of the time of writing, there are nine volumes in print.

The series has been adapted into a manga, but also an anime series, which premiered on July 5, 2023. A live-action film was also released that year. The anime series’ second season ended on April 9, 2025 after some delays.

After 26 episodes, 13 in each season, My Happy Marriage fans can look forward to the future, as a new project has been confirmed.

The upcoming anime Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra: Hametsu no Bunmei de Hajimeru Sekai Seifuku is getting more updates, and things are shaping up fast. A new version of the teaser visual has been revealed, along with two more cast members. The series is set to air in 2025.

Dandadan's latest episode concluded the Acrobatic Silky arc. In the second story arc of Dandadan, Momo and Okarun have to search for Okarun's missing kintama, his balls, which were stolen before Turbo Granny's defeat. While searching, they encounter a new ally, Aira Shiratoni, and another malevolent yokai: the Acrobatic Silky. In another test of their teamwork, the two have to defeat Acrobatic Silky and save the life of Aira, who has been haunted by the Acrobatic Silky since she was a little girl.

Acrobatic Silky is another yokai that series creator Yukinobu Tatsu gave a lot of thought to. Like the Turbo Granny and even the Serpo, Tatsu has integrated real-life urban legends into the yokai's design and a character-driven tragic backstory.
