[At the 2018 Logies]: Thank you so much for believing in a female-driven drama that makes visible the invisible lives of women who are incarcerated.

[Talking About Wentworth (2013) ] :I think people are enjoying seeing women in roles that normally you see men play, particularly in the power play of status. Within the prison system, amongst the inmates, there's a hierarchy and you see who strives to be top dog - who wants it, who doesn't and who has loyalty to whom. It's intrinsically interesting and it's really complex. I think the great thing about the show is that it shines a light on these women's humanity - their good bits as well as their bad bits, because all of us have those. One of the other things I love most about it is that it's women of all shapes, sizes, ages and nationalities.

One of the loveliest things - it's a little bizarre - is that whenever I'm out in public, I get these very flattering comments. "You're so much smaller in real life" or "You're very pretty in real life and so much younger", all because I'm not in the blue tracksuit with my hair pulled back and no make-up on!

When I go back, I can see the depth of the friendship and the respect they hold for each other.

It's been a challenging show to be a part of, but hugely rewarding. I look back and feel really deeply proud of the work I've done and the collaboration every day on set with the crew and the cast and the directors and the writers - you're part of an enormous, really wonderful alchemy of all those factors coming together. It's been a grand adventure and an absolute challenge and now I feel like there's nothing I couldn't do.
