  • Co-starred in sixteen plays opposite actress Judi Dench.
  • Former leading actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
  • He has two roles in common with Cary Elwes: (1) Ingham played Paris of Troy in Small Prophet, Quick Return (1965), Death of a Spy (1965) and Horse of Destruction (1965) and Elwes played him in Hercules and the Trojan War (1998) and (2) Ingham played Robin Hood in Le Défi de Robin des Bois (1967) and Elwes played him in Sacré Robin des Bois (1993).
  • He spent from 1980 to 1986 in America and while there appeared in a Broadway musical, television films and series such as Remington Steele and Airwolf..
  • He is one of only 29 actors to appear in both the "Star Trek" and "Doctor Who" franchises. He played Paris in Small Prophet, Quick Return (1965), Death of a Spy (1965) and Horse of Destruction (1965) and Danilo O'Dell in Up the Long Ladder (1989). He also played the role of Alydon in Dr Who contre les Daleks (1965) although this is not considered part of the "Doctor Who" franchise.
  • Upon his death, Ingham's remains were cremated.
  • He was the voice of Basil in the animated. film Basil the Great Mouse Detective.
  • He based Basil's voice on Leslie Howard as Professor Higgins in 'Pygmalion'.
  • On the shortlist for "Terrall" (played by Gary Watson) for Docteur Who (1963): Evil Of The Daleks.
  • He was the voice of Charn based on the videos of self moving and acting.
