Trillion Game Manga Gets Live-Action Film in 2025

Trillion Game , a popular seinen manga, is being adapted into a live-action film that will be released in 2025. The film features cast and staff from the 2023 Trillion Game live-action TV drama: Yoshiaki Murao directs the film while Daisuke Habara write the script. Additionally, actors Ren Meguro (of idol group Snow Man) and Hayato Sano will reprise their roles as Haru and Gaku, respectively. The official website of Shogakukan announced the winners for the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards on Jan 18, 2024. The winning titles will receive a bronze statuette and a prize of 1 million yen.

After aggregating these recommendations, collective evaluations and discussions take place to select the nominated works for each category.

The official website of Shogakukan revealed a list of nominees for the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards on Dec 7, 2023. A total of 12 manga have been nominated across various genres for the award this year, and for the first time ever there is no category wise division.

The winning works will be announced on Jan 18, 2024.

Trillion Game Manga Gets Anime Adaptation

In exciting news for anime fans, the popular Trillion Game manga is finally making its debut on the small screen with a brand-new anime adaptation.

Written by Riichiro Inagaki, best known for Eyeshield 21 and Dr. Stone, and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, known for his work on Crying Freeman, the Trillion Game manga's upcoming anime adaptation is set to debut on the streaming platform Kadokawa, which has shared a special illustration and a trailer to celebrate the announcement.

The 20-second clip featured many of the first volume's illustrations depicting what's in store for viewers. The manga's story revolves around the protagonists, Haru and Gaku, who decide to go on a quest.
