David Hussey
David Hussey began acting professionally at age 11, when he appeared alongside Howard Keel in Camelot. Soon after, he studied acting, dance and technical theatre while monthly performing shows at the Creative Arts Theatre School, a unique extra-curricular school in Arlington, Texas. Building on these experiences, David entered the undergraduate theatre department at S.M.U., ranked the number one program in the country, and there won both the prestigious Greer Garson Acting Award and Edith Renshaw Award for outstanding undergraduate acting student. While in Dallas, he performed opposite George C. Scott in "Finding the Way Home," and Valerie Bertinelli in "Pancho Barnes." He also featured in several plays, culminating with the lead roles of HAMLET and PRINCE HAL at Fort Worth Shakespeare in the Park. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he studied with Milton Katselas for 6 years. Since moving to L.A. he's had roles in movies and television shows-- among them, "Becker," "MadTV," "General Hospital," "Apollo 11," "Blue Chips," "Mr. Saturday Night," and "Things II: More Things." He also starred in a pilot, hosted his own show on VH-1, "Reality Wrap-Up," and has been fortunate enough to have made many commercials.

Apart from an extensive acting career, he has won acclaim as a director, having helmed, among others, the acclaimed Search and Destroy at the Tamarind, for which he received the Dramalogue Award for Best Direction, Speed the Plow at the Group Repertory Theatre, Coffee Stains at the Odyssey, and several productions at the Creative Arts Theatre School.

Most recently, he was seen back on stage as The Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz" at Bass Hall, Fort Worth, TX, alternating roles nightly in the 2-man "Cold Coffee and Turtle Soup" at the Avery Schreiber Theatre, and being turned into a zombie at the NY Fringe Festival in the new musical "Graveyard Shift."

A studied physical comedian, dancer, and juggler, he is a two-time World Juggling Champion.

An accomplished musician, having studied music since age 8, piano, violin, guitar, voice, flute and even bagpipes included, David spent 5 years as the lead vocalist for the GENESIS Tribute Band Gabble Ratchet. He currently enjoys creating music as a founding member, lead singer, musician and writer for the acclaimed progressive rock band XNA who have released their debut album, produced by Billy Sherwood (YES, WORLD TRADE, LODGIC, CIRCA:), to rave reviews worldwide.

He lives happily with his Beautiful Bride Tonilyn, their baby boy, two dogs, cat and STAR WARS action figures.
