  • Jamie Campbell Bower, Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Gaten Matarazzo in Stranger Things (2016)

    1. Stranger Things

    2016–202542 eps16TV Series
    8.6 (1.6M)
In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.
CreatorsMatt DufferRoss DufferStarsMillie Bobby BrownFinn WolfhardWinona Ryder
Filming has wrapped on the final season of this beloved supernatural horror series, which cemented terms like the Upside Down and demagorgon in our collective vocabulary, and fans are waiting impatiently to be transported back to 1987 Hawkins, Indiana to close out the adventure. We've all grown up alongside the cast of former kids, who have since become household names, and can't wait to see what awaits Eleven, Mike, Dusty, Lucas, and the rest of the crew. Joining the cast for Season 5 are Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and none other than Linda Hamilton (Teminator) in an undisclosed role, which has us screaming internally in anticipation.

Season 5 premieres on Netflix Nov. 26
  • Rhea Seehorn in Pluribus (2025)

    2. Pluribus

    2025– 10 eps12TV Series
    8.1 (76K)
In a world overtaken by a mysterious wave of forced happiness, Carol Sturka, one of the immune few, must uncover what's really going on - and save humanity from its artificial bliss.
    CreatorVince GilliganStarsRhea SeehornKarolina WydraCarlos-Manuel Vesga
Vince Gilligan returns to both Albuquerque and his sci-fi roots with "Pluribus," his new and twisty take on the pandemic genre. The intriguing premise follows Carol (Rhea Seehorn) as the only person immune to a virus that causes uncontrollable optimism and happiness. With the tagline, "The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness," I can't wait to see how this one plays out. I mean, would a world full of happiness and optimism be a bad thing? The series marks a reunion between Gilligan and "Better Call Saul" star Seehorn, and has been greenlit for two seasons before its debut. Given Gilligan's track record and Apple TV's track record of leaning into high-quality sci-fi programming, my expectations are high for this one.

In 1962, a couple with their son move to Derry, Maine just as a young boy disappears. With their arrival, very bad things begin to happen in the town.
CreatorsJason FuchsAndy MuschiettiBarbara MuschiettiStarsJovan AdepoBill SkarsgårdTaylour Paige
Here's a question we have about this prequel series set in the scariest town in the Stephen King multiverse: Who would have played Pennywise if Bill Skarsgård didn't finally agree to haunt the sewers once again as the shapeshifting, dancing clown? Filming on the series had commenced before Skarsgård’s return was announced by HBO and Andy and Barbara Muschietti, who hope the origin series is as well received as It Chapter One and, of course, the original miniseries that stills haunts us 90s kids. Heading back to the 1960s alongside Skarsgård in his first post-Nosferatu role will be Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, James Remar, and regular visits from Madeleine Stowe.

    7.8 (218K)
Chronicles the real life stories of infamous killers, presenting several different perspectives of their cases.
CreatorsIan BrennanRyan MurphyStarsEvan PetersCharlie HunnamRichard Jenkins
Ryan Murphy’s controversial true crime series is returning in 2025, and this time the focus will be on serial killer Ed Gein. Charlie Hunnam stars as Gein, with Laure Metcalf joining the cast as his mother, Augusta. Let's just say the relationship between mother and son was disturbing. As dark as it is to say, Gein has long been a source of inspiration in Hollywood, influencing aspects of fictional killers like Psycho’s Norman Bates and The Silence of the Lambs’ Buffalo Bill. It seems that the murder’s status as a grotesque muse will be explored in the series, as it’s been announced Tom Hollander and Olivia Williams will portray Alfred and Alma Hitchcock in this third installment of the anthology series.
