I've seen and own the entire series. Very well done. Didn't care much for the ending though. It left things too wide open.

Seen it many times and own all 7 seasons on DVD. It's another one that I got into late. Of course, now I say thank you, Joss Whedon. You helped me break through 7 years of writer's block.

Both seasons are in the house. I thought it was an awesome show and hated to see it end. Especially the way it did. That didn't make me happy at all.
  • Chuck Norris in Walker, Texas Ranger (1993)

Awesome show. Now if they would just release the movies on DVD my set would be complete.
  • Noah Hathaway, Lorne Greene, Dirk Benedict, Richard Hatch, Maren Jensen, and Laurette Spang in Galactica (1978)

After the destruction of the Twelve Colonies of Mankind, the last major fighter carrier leads a makeshift fugitive fleet on a desperate search for the legendary planet Earth.
CreatorGlen A. LarsonStarsLorne GreeneRichard HatchDirk Benedict
A classic. Some of the effects weren't quite there but what can you expect from 1978? Plot wasn't as strong as it could have been. But I grew up with it.
  • Galactica 1980 (1980)

    10. Galactica 1980

When the Battlestar Galactica finally arrives at Earth, they find they must subtly raise its tech level while protecting it from the Cylons.
CreatorGlen A. LarsonStarsKent McCordBarry Van DykeRobyn Douglass
This show wasn't as good as the original. Especially with so few of the originals being on there. And they jumped too far ahead with the plot line. Still if you have one part of a show or movie series you should go ahead and get them all.
  • Mary McDonnell, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Aaron Douglas, Michael Hogan, Grace Park, Katee Sackhoff, and Tricia Helfer in Battlestar Galactica (2004)

    11. Battlestar Galactica

CreatorsGlen A. LarsonRonald D. MooreStarsEdward James OlmosMary McDonnellJamie Bamber
I thought the reboot was handled very well. There was a great deal more detail to the plot and the characters were much more rounded. They expanded things to explore how some people got where they were and what the attack meant to each of the colonies. It wasn't the original but I liked it.
  • Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and Shannen Doherty in Charmed (1998)

    12. Charmed

    1998–2006179 epsTous publicsTV Series
    7.2 (97K)
Three sisters discover that they are descendants of a line of good female witches and are destined to fight against the forces of evil.
CreatorConstance M. BurgeStarsHolly Marie CombsAlyssa MilanoBrian Krause
Well done and noticeable detail worked into this story. The witchcraft aspect had definitely been researched. I loved the way the fourth sister was brought in as a half-white lighter. That gave Piper something to work with when she and Leo had kids.
  • David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, and Glenn Quinn in Angel (1999)

    13. Angel

    1999–2004111 eps10TV Series
    7.9 (79K)
The vampire Angel, cursed with a soul, moves to Los Angeles and aids people with supernatural-related problems while questing for his own redemption.
CreatorsDavid GreenwaltJoss WhedonStarsDavid BoreanazCharisma CarpenterAlexis Denisof
I loved the development of the characters that had started out on BtVS. Especially Cordelia. She went from being a stuck-up, spoiled brat to someone who wasn't so afraid of showing that she had a heart. I thought it was a shame the way she left the show but they handled it very well. And the last episode.....Talk about wide open for more. But I thought it was a good show.
  • Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson Peete, Peter DeLuise, Dustin Nguyen, and Steven Williams in 21 Jump Street (1987)

CreatorsStephen J. CannellPatrick HasburghStarsJohnny DeppDustin NguyenPeter DeLuise
One of my favorite shows from my high school years. Only have one season for now.
  • Alex O'Loughlin in Moonlight (2007)

    15. Moonlight

    2007–200817 epsTV-14TV Series
    7.6 (26K)
An undead private investigator uses his unique talents to help the living.
CreatorsRon KoslowTrevor MunsonStarsAlex O'LoughlinSophia MylesJason Dohring
Great show. Shame it only ran one season but the ending was a little too much like Forever Knight for my taste. Differences yes but too many similarities.
  • Le justicier des ténèbres (1992)

    16. Le justicier des ténèbres

    1992–199670 epsTV-14TV Series
    7.6 (3.3K)
800-year-old vampire Nick Knight quests for redemption as a cop in Toronto, trying to hide his vampiric nature from the rest of the world.
CreatorsBarney CohenJames D. ParriottStarsGeraint Wyn DaviesCatherine DisherNigel Bennett
Fabulous show. Loved Nick's character. So, well I call him, 3D. I loved the way he was written and Geraint Wyn-Davies played him to the hilt.
