I went in to this not expecting much, and knowing it's not exactly high brow humor, but I completely underestimated it. Absolutely hilarious, and gets better as it goes. I can't remember the last time I was genuinely trying to catch my breath from laughing so hard. 100% recommend if you're in the mood for a silly movies.
I saw this movie years ago when I was young, and didn't really understand the story. This movie is one of the best stories that makes you really relate to characters so long ago. I mostly just came to say that meta critic reviews are an absolute joke. Multiple reviews under a 6.0 and 5.0?! Always trust regular film audiences over pretentious "critics". Great movie!
I can understand peoples dislike for this movie to a point, but I was satisfied. The plot isn't the most riveting story ever told, but it is fairly unique with some neat sci-fi concepts that feel like they could exist in reality. Where this movie might lose points with people, I feel it more than makes up for with the absolutely stunning visual aspect. Wonderful camera shots, lighting, setups and awesome CGI make this one of the most beautifully shot movies I've seen this year. Not every movie has to be life changing or profoundly deep to be a great watch in my opinion.
