To be honest, I did not expect this show to be so good. If not for Netflix's Lost In Space, this would be my favorite Sci-Fi TV show. The show writers managed to create a universe that feels distant, dark and creepy, yet relatable. Definitely a unique one. The plot of this show encompasses so much - conflict between believers and atheists, faith in general, scraping to give humanity a chance of survival, androids raising children, childhood trauma, survival, alien mysteries and so much more. The acting was phenomenal - added depth to the show.

It's unfortunate that the story was not finished. So many questions unanswered... So much potential left unused... Character arks not completed...

Hope somebody picks up this show.

9/10 instead of 10/10 only because it was canceled mid-story. Who does that?

I watched this movie in 2020 ( wasn't even born when this movie came out). I really enjoyed it. Even though it is a drama and some scenes are emotional, Dianne Keaton's comical character really lightens up the mood and forces you to laugh in certain scenes (btw, music for this movie was chosen perfectly, in my opinion). Joseph Cross's acting along with other actors was brilliant, characters felt very natural. Actually, I watched other movies with Joseph Cross like Jack Frost and Desperate Measures and that is how I came across this movie. And I'm glad I did. I watched it already 2 times and will probably watch it more. I guess I really like the harmony of drama and comedy in this movie. Plus, it;s old, well, for me anyways. Do I recommend this movie? DEFINITELY.!
