I believed the chemistry between the leads was fantastic. I was never bored even though the romance is low burning, but the tension between them is amazing. Amongst the war to control the territories, you will enjoy amazing portrayals by the main and supporting cast who all do an amazing job. The scenery is imposing, I loved the sets, the costumes, and the soundtrack too. Main song performed by Liu Yuning is amazing. There are many memorable scenes that will make you want to go back again and again to re watch. No spoilers but once the romance between the main characters starts burning, you will scream at your screen with excitement. There is even an extra episode that is a great bonus for those of us who were craving for more of the story. This one is a collaborative effort because all of the aspects click together from the plot, characterization, set design, music, costumes, and a great balance between the action, and the romance. I will be rewatching the whole series soon, but I have been enjoying my favorite scenes because there are many that will make you skip and go back to enjoy again and again.

I enjoyed this movie overall. I thought that Joey McIntyre did a good job and so did the young actress who played his daughter. My main problem was Michelle Morgan because I can only see Lou Fleming and couldn't get past that. She's a good actress and I love her in Heartland, but to be honest, I believe she was somehow nervous around Joey and there was not much chemistry. The songs were nice although I thought that it wasn't Michelle who was singing and she was (maybe I couldn't identify her with her singing voice) I also thought they could have done a better job with the wardrobe because Michelle is young and I felt she looked matronly. All in all a nice little Christmas movie.
