The Luckiest Man in America is a based on true events where an unemployed ice cream truck vendor from Ohio named Michael (Paul Walter Hauser) goes on Press Your Luck game show in 1984 and ends up leaving with over $110K in cash and prizes. The amount would be worth over $358K in total's dollars. The host Peter Tomarken is played by Walter Goggins while David Strathairn and Shamier Anderson act as the show's producers. At that time that kind of money was a lot to win in a day time game show. Manse Williams is the show's pager while Shaunette Renee Wilson and Damian Young are CBS executives. Johnny Knoxville has a cameo on a talk show that was not relevant to the story but the story had to add some excitement. Maggie Briggs co-wrote the script with the director Samir Oliveros. Overall the story was engaging with a great cast but Paul made the main character feel and look creepy. I enjoyed it and I would highly recommend to everyone to watch this small budgeted feature film.

Happy Gilmore 2 is another Adam Sandler movie on Netflix but this time Happy is a single father of five after he birdied during a tournament that hit his wife Virginia (Julie Bowen) and killed her. After almost thirty years Sandler brings back his friends to recreate a story about his shortcomings as an adult and becomes an alcoholic. His daughter Vienna (Sunny Sandler) is a great ballerina and has a chance to join the infamous ballet school in France but it will cost Happy $75,000 a year for her to attend. Happy decides to get his act straightened out to rejoin the golf tour in order to raise money to support her education. The first half of the movie was good but the second half was just thrown out of the window. This was directed by Kyle Newacheck who was also behind other Sandler projects like Murder Mystery. The second half of the storyline has regular golfers face off against Maxi athletics headed by Haley Joel Osment. The film had over 70 cameos from infamous hall of fame golfers like Jack Nicholson to Arnold Palmer to current golfers. There are way too many individuals to name from Sandler's SNL friends to Bad Bunny playing his caddy. Original characters reprise their roles like Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald) to Dan Patrick playing himself. I got to say this was more of sentimental tribute to all the actors we have lost than to make a good movie. I enjoyed the first movie but this one started out well and ended silly. The story was way too predictable and not as funny, it was good to watch once but it isn't worth watching again.

Handmaid's Tale: the sixth and final season focuses on the ongoing fight against Gilead. June returns to the former states to build a rebellion of handmaids to liberate the areas of Gilead that were depressed the most. The ladies plan to overtake and kill the commanders on the night of Serena's wedding. Serena's journey to become the leader and new image of New Bethlehem with the help of Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford). Josh Charles comes into the picture as High Commander Wharton and Nick's new father-in-law. Upon their marriage, Serena learns Wharton is no different from her former husband Waterford, The storyline became predictable and slow to come to action, . Sure the good guys finally get the upper hand and liberate the states and June returns to the burned down Waterford house to start writing her story. Overall it ended underwhelmingly boring most of the time and closed the chapter of a series that was unique. Like I said before, the fourth season could have given a better ending than this mess. Moss directed quite a few episodes but sometimes you got to ask what's best for the story. I am glad it ended but it felt a few holes that were not closed or explained. Did June ever find her daughter? All we learned was Luke and June separated because of their differences, I was like what how and why? Oh well, at least my wife won't have any more nightmares.
