This is not a movie for an Oscars and don't expect too much from the plot, it's simple and you've seen it all before, however the main thing in this film is the action.

Think "The Raid", it reminded me a lot about that type of bloody films, with non-stop fighting at different venues with all kinds of weapons and endless number of bad guys coming for the hero, and in this film its heros. Not just that, there are few types of bad guys and all fight each other.

Another thing which I did not expect is how many characters finds there bloody destiny, and it's just getting more and more bloody as the film progress.

This was a fun ride, a type of film that puts the stunts work at top priority, the team of stunts made this movie what it is, what an amazing work. 9/10 for the action which is top cinematic work.

The movie is ok, not great and not bad, if you are a fan of Alien movies you must watch this and you will recognize many ideas taken from prior movie, and I mean all 6.

The idea is basic one which appears in all movies, which is a group of people who arrive into a place full of.. you know, and you also know what will happen to them, to the leading actors, and to the monsters. It's all so predictable, from start to end.

Still I liked it, because it's part of the franchise, and I'm a loyal returning customer, I'm also a freak of similar movies such as Predator, fact is they all follow the same formula in all movies, but who doesn't enjoy seeing humans fight monsters and win, especially when it's a girl kicking their ass?

What is did not like the fact that most of the characters are stupid, with bad judgment, who doesn't think. Maybe it's a hint on today's young generation. Too many times I find myself saying "what an idiot".

The actors are doing a good job, not great.

Bottom line - they could have done a much better film, but I thank the production for this movie as too many years passed since the last one and I'm waiting for the next one, hopefully they will be able to generate better films in the future, the plot can be much better.

As always a fine ride, although the story and directing is not top, it is a B movie after all with law budget like most of Scott Adkins movies, but for me as a fan it's less important as I enjoy him kicking ass, and as always he gives 100% and try to get the best out of the low budget.

Acting is surprisingly good especially Jack Parr's , I would like to see more of him and it looks like his career is just at the beginning, The action is good but limited, there's also some drama, but as always all is predictable even the main twist of the movie can be spotted very early in the movie.

I think that Adkins actually belongs to the high league, he did give an amazing show in John Wick 4, and can bring a lot of character and fun to any action movie, he is making few movies every year, 99% of them are B movies, however is film-making knowledge is so good that he can add a lot of value to any big screen film.

Adkins is getting old, it's clear, at some point he will not be able to continue to kick as before, hopefully he will grow to other niches in action, there are plenty.
