Monstrously boring. Oh my word. This is dire. Great actors being made to deliver this drivel. What a huge missed opportunity. So very, very boring. It feels like some amateur student show at a fringe theatre. Given the talent and budget - awful. What a waste of such talent.

The plot line is all over the place. You have no idea what is happening and then when you do you don't care. The critics say this is Disney being greedy - but I would argue if they were they were being greedy, they would have put some effort in to it. This is so dull and so boring - but crucially - a waste of talent. Amazing actors being made to make this rubbish into gold. Why betray actors like this with dross like this? Shame on the makers.

This isn't Cinderella. This isn't the usual fairy tale. It's a pastiche. It's a joke. It's a 'have fun' film. If you see it for what it is - you will enjoy it.

If you don't like the fact that people who aren't white are actually part of European history or you hate the fact the fairy godmother is briefly a gay guy - you'll hate this. If you are happy to enjoy the story with some entertaining digs at the patriarchy - then you'll have fun. Just enjoy it. It's a fun. Pantomime. It's Cinderella as it should be. Silly and fun - with brilliant performances from the entire cast!

The same old boring, depressing stuff. No original ideas, lame humour. With everything 2020 had to offer a comedy script writer - this is what they came up with. Truly, had high hopes given the calibre of talent, but it was dull, unfunny and just miserable. The writing was so lazy it could send you to sleep. Boring, predictable and amateur. In that sense, it was peak 2020. Seriously, why not try and cheer us up rather than continue to depress us?
