I bought this movie knowing it wasn't a sci-fi horror flick I was expecting a movie that would keep my attention though and this certainly didn't deliver the goods, extremely boring in all aspects of the film, I usually agree with the majority of film critics on this site, in fact I wont buy nothing until I read about 6 reviews first from this site. This time I have to disagree with a lot of the people who wrote this was good, I fully understand the movie but man was it a dull movie, if you have insomnia watch this flick and you wont have a problem finding dream land I promise, I am not saying that you would dislike it, but if you were me you wouldn't waste your time.....by the way does anyone want to buy a movie I got one for sell.

Alright I will let you know this 8 stars I have given this is on a low budget scale not on my real horror scale I know a lot of people say either the movie sucks or it is good, but that is not a fair assumption higher budgeted movies can do a lot more because they have the funds to do so. The only thing I look for in a straight to video release is can it keep me awake or interested and 99% fail at that, but this one passed the test Mr. Kangas did a good job on this movie and I will look for future releases from him. I wouldn't recommend rushing out and buying this today, overall it was an interesting piece of work. I really liked the killer clown he was cool, on a big budget they could have added a lot more death scenes and things of that nature but anyway on a straight to video release Ill give this one 8 stars and that is high coming from me most of the other ones average around 2 to 3 stars, give it a chance I think you might like it but then again you might hate it.

I am watching this flick right now (in the mood for some ash) and I can't believe I haven't wrote anything on this masterpiece! I will start out by saying nothing new can touch this film, not even close! This movie is truly amazing knowing how low of a budget they had and could make a movie that can stand the test of time! I was never really a big Bruce campbell fan growing up, but now that I am older He is one of one of my favorite actors and Evil dead is one my favorites. I wouldn't recommend this flick to someone who scares easily, but if you are a bonafied gorehound and haven't seen it you don't know what you are missing! I got this on DVD with some cool extra's I have watched the film with Bruce"s documentary on it and he is really smart and funny, so sit back and turn out all the lights and enjoy the Evil Dead!!!!!
