Well, Heretic was on my watch list ever since I saw it appearing on my home page of Prime Video. However, due to some reasons, I was not able to find myself time or rather the interest to give it a go. Now, coming to the movie plot and my overall thoughts. I liked it, to be honest. Probably one of the best psychological horror movies I have seen in recent times. Blown away by the direction and the little nuances that were shown and used in the movie. And boy, Hugh Grant is aging better like a wine. He is the core of this movie. And yes, I loved the work of two actresses as well, who played the role of sisters. Overall, a good watch. I am not a Christian, so naturally, I wasn't familiar with the background of what exactly missionaries do, and all related stuff. Also, I understood many other terminilogies like theology, heretic, etc.

I liked the plot and the background score throughout the movie. The movie does not have many gore scenes, which I believe has worked out here. One would be on the edge of their seats throughout. I liked the casting of CW done by Cassandra. Her on-screen presence indeed creeped out viewers and gave us the hint that she's gonna be creepy. Overall, a good watch, I wish the movie could have been stretched for much longer, though. Of course, there are some flaws in the movie that will make you think how that is logically possible. But one can easily ignore those as they will be engrossed totally in the movie.

PS: I liked the ending more than anything in the movie.

Shoojit Sircar back at it again. Just like his previous hit 'October', this movie as well will leave you in awe. Abhishek just nailed his character. A wholesome movie for sure. Loved the background score as well. Abhishek's best performance till date, no denying in that. Don't miss on this guys, moreover it's based on a true story. A masterpiece by Sircar. Loved the performance from other actors too, particularly Jayant Kriplani. It's a shame that it was a box office bomb. It should have been released only on OTT platform perhaps. The relationship between a single ailing father and her daughter has been beautifully depicted. Would like to see more such content driven movie in near future too.
