I've never been easily able to explain why I hate Christmas. Now, I have video evidence.
I get why people say things about this ep. Like 'It's just over the top yelling' 'it's way too much' 'what a headache!'. It really is, but Darling, I think the point might be to make you feel that way.
It was raw and real from the minute Michael and Sug say to Carmy "You got Mom, ok?". The yelling, the better off Cousins using the Lesser Offs as play toys. The getting too drunk and saying what you shouldn't, the unwanted opinions and advice, the repeated freaking story!!!! The chaos and trauma of it all was so well depicted.
Jamie-Lee Curtis, just wow. It's episodes like this that will continue to propel television as the best story telling medium.
This is also a flashback episode that is a story worth telling unto itself, rather than just some mid season filler to bolster the protagonist which is great to see.
Bravo to all involved.

Bravo to all involved.
Good hospital drama about public hospitals and the people in them doing their jobs, not crazy love triangles and crap like most. Well, not much anyway. When you think you've predicted what's going to happen, you are pleasantly surprised when thing unpan differently.
Every episode's humanity makes you cry. I mean I'm not crying, my eyeballs are sweating.
Good TV and strangely addictive. Recommend a watch.
