This film does an excellent job showing both the entrenched corruption in our public institutions that promote animal agriculture, as well as the positive force of caring and perseverance to help shed light and bring healing to people. This is the story of what happens when people bring the power of truth (Gandhi's Satyagraha) to homes, churches, and legislative assemblies. In spite of enormous resistance, positive change is possible. Highly recommended for everyone.
When I watched this film I was inspired to check the statistics and basic message, and I have to say that it's all basically accurate from what I can tell. This is positive muck-raking film journalism at its finest, exposing the hidden machinations that explain why our diet plays such an important role in disease/health. Also why the U.S. has the #1 most expensive medical industry worldwide, but is way down around #50 worldwide in terms of health. Why do we spend so much money and still become so sick? This film lays it all out in an inspiring, informative way that is funny and shocking all at once. Deep gratitude for this film - a must-see by everyone, empowering and liberating.
