This is the best medical documentary in many years. There has rarely been the kind of access to emergency department care as this show displays. I work in emergency medicine and am a a bit of a medical documentary hound, so this sort of show it's very exciting to me. The host seems like a great guy and treats his coworkers, nurses and residents exceptionally well, it's obvious to see how the experience of cutting his teeth as a battalion physician in Iraq has translated to being a great leader in the civilian sector. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone interested in emergency medicine or hospital care.
Others may think the director beat around the bush but I thought it was a great, colorful way to tell a bizarre story which could've otherwise just been a dull presentation of facts. It's a great story and very relatable somehow with a good ending. I enjoyed it a lot.
The first half of the documentary, the part which involves Hulk Hogan's civil suit, was great. From then on it was a bunch of liberal journalists voicing concern over things they thought would happen during president Trumps presidency, which by the way have not. The documentary is literally pushing the same garbage as the news networks which are failing for doing the same thing.
