Watched a magnum opus today and it reminded me that no matter how much you dedicate to cinema only certain creative geniuses can bring that magic to life. I've always wondered why filmmakers like Padmarajan and Scorsese create timeless magic. Prithviraj though talented with his framing it felt like a one-trick pony in comparison. This movie shouldnt be celebrated .

Mohanlal, often silent and striking with his eyeliner, commands attention, but his character lacks depth, with long stretches of no dialogue that add style but not substance. The narrative is ambitious but emotionally shallow, with forced twists and a dragging pace. For all its ambition, Empuraan feels like an empty promise rather than a masterpiece.
