Oh god, where do I start? After the whole controversy with Batman Returns being too dark and violent for kids, Warner Bros. Decided the future Batman films should be more family friendly orientated. Tim Burton stepped down as director and Joel Schumacher took over. What we got was Batman Forever and I wasn't a fan of the overall campiness of the whole movie. Batman And Robin or should I say "Crapman And Poopbin" takes the campiness of Batman Forever and makes it even worse. Everything from Mr. Freezes awful ice puns, the return of the bat nipples and neon colors from Batman Forever. The plot is stupid, Poison Ivy is terrible, and Bane just sucks. Good thing Christopher Nolan saved Batman entirely with the Dark Night trilogy.
Back in fall of 2019 during my freshman of High School, I developed a new interest in comic books due to some friends convincing me to try reading some. I agreed to do it, and fell in love it instantly. Justice League: The New Frontier plays a big role in it. Why it does because is every-time I watch it, which is all about the origin of the silver age Justice League, it reminds me of my very own origin story when I fell in love with comic books in general. Everything about this film hits solid gold based on the source material by the late Darwyn Cooke. There's some slang technology that was used during the 50's since this movie is set in the years 1953, 1954, and finally 1960. I find the Cold War connections intriguing with it's overall historical fiction setting mixed in with the DC superheroes.
