I really cannot understand people who support films like this. All they do is promote ageist values and mid life crisis! And then these same people seem to think that they are somehow more spiritual. Of course looks, colour, nationality etc does not matter but AGE certainly does. Hollywood loves to churn out garbage like this and the critics will lap it up because it just cements the values of Hollywood! What would have been beautiful would have been an ageing man finding a(shock horror!!) ageing woman! Or man or whatever! It seems like these sort of films will continue to condition the masses. Cannot believe Bill Murray wasted his talent on this sort of film

I cannot stand movies made by this director. First devdas and a couple of other joke films and now this.

Many people might disagree with me, but these films try to capture an image of what life used to be like. However, they fail to show what it was like whatsoever. You cannot get the right clothing, scenery etc and then go ahead and promote a selfish bigamist and claim it is a love story.

Mugal e azam should not even be put in the same sentence as this film. It makes me sad to think what period films have become! This classic film had it all. It was so realistic and showed truth. That sort of love existed not the type that THIS movie shows.

I do think that many critics over value movies by certain directors. Sanjay is one of them. Some of his films have great songs but other than that he cannot direct to save his life. And can we please get some decent writers into Bollywood again? You will not beat HAKHK or DDLJ when you promote love that is not realistic!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I wish there were more scenes of the characters as children. I am not in the age bracket of the actors, but could compare my own friendships with theirs. I love when movies show and even promote realistic relationships.

I hate how Paddy didn't get the girl and was even told that his wife only stuck with him because his first choice said no. It left a bad taste in the mouth. There should have been at least 2 older ladies in the film. one for each of them! I loved Morgan in this film also. Very funny. You will find there are some great one liners in this film.

Age is just a number... for everything EXCEPT true love. You can start something new everyday. A new business venture, going back to study, travelling, you name it! But there is something very endearing about couples who choose to grow old together or with someone of their own generation. I think Billy and men like Billy (was), ARE fearful of growing old. And then some are just straight up jerks! All in all, a great film to watch with friends.
