Valutazione di dlaughlin-90046
I am a bird lover, but I didn't recognize the bird on the window seal. I searched and searched on google. I couldn't find a North American bird with those colors and that type of beak. I finally saw a bird with those distinctive colors green on top of head, white and black bands on the face blue belly and purple neck and chest. It comes from the south eastern part of Africa around Tanzania and Kenya and the countries around there. It's called the Lilac-Breasted Roller. How a bird with no wild population in the U. S. got into a tv show from 1988 is really strange. It had to come from someone who supplies animals to Hollywood, but why use a non native species. I'm sure they had cardinals and Robins and plenty of other native birds:
I like to watch the show sometimes because of Noah Wiley. But all of that stuff of it being in real time and every episode is like a real hour. Nothing ever gets done. There can't be any real character development like what there home life is like or there friends and family are like. And takes so long and so many episodes to continue or finish a storyline that you forgot what happened with the patient 6 or 7 episodes ago. It's just long and tedious and takes so long for things to happen. Think about it when you are watching the eight episode but only eight hours has passed on the show. It's just too slow.
The only reason I gave 5 stars was for the story and the White family. The movie part gets a negative 10. This family went through hell and survived due to their faith. To have their story butchered by the filmmakers is a real shame. Everyone involved in telling their story should be on their knees begging that family for forgiveness. It was horrible. Making White look like some babbling fool that was soiling his pants and almost passing out. The movie wasn't about what that family went thru it was about everyone praising God every time they spoke two words. How about praising the family and the people who helped get them down safely.
