Some of the facts were twisted from the actual truth, others were lies. The acting was that of great actors. As we always get with the cast of this movie. The worst part of it all was ALL the BEST stories and COOLEST things that happened between Edison and Tesla were completely left out of this movie. Or they were marginalized so you almost did NOT even notice it was part of the movie at all. Nothing to do with the actors, Hollywood is SCRIPTING itself right out of business. I have been a SERIOUS movie watcher my entire life. I say to my wife, "did you see that camera angle" and she looks at me like I am speaking in tongues. I thought I would forever love film. I am finding it an obligation more than enjoyment the last few years because movies and TV have become such worthless garbage. I am going back to the 40's and 50's to find movies I have never seen just to get QUALITY new movies to watch. HOLLYWOOD NEED SERIOUS REFORM TOP TO BOTTOM!!! I as HUMILIATED to say I have ever loved movies. It is like they want to make BAD film, not as a risk of art, but JUST TO MAKE BAD MOVIES!!!!

I know nothing about the actual account of what happened aboard that ship. What I do know is the film I just sat 3 hours to see and if that IS close to the actual account, It makes me sick to think those men went through all THAT, Mutinied far too late, as soon as the first man lost his life due to someone being a dick needlessly, just to prove that he is a man without brains, just to see everyone PUNISHED in the end just because they wanted to live. 2nd, If this is mostly fiction that makes it so much worse. They made up a bunch a garbage to what, make them look like idiots or weak so viewers would feel sorry for them? The ending is the biggest insult of all!!! I understand there has to be consequence for actions on a ship but the things that were done on that ship has no place anywhere regardless of how long ago. NObody can have a successful military when you do the things that were done to those guys. If it was all fake, the story must have been a weak tale to begin with because if it was good, there would be no need to make up extra story to try and make a better movie. I LOVE BRANDO but this was total trash and I will be removing it from my EPIC 60K library of movies and TV. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!

Anyone that thinks this movie can be compared to the masterpiece that JULIA' was part of is looking at the world through a lens that is twisted. The fact that anyone can associate the value of someones character with the WAY they have sex is sick on a new level of shallow! I have 1 TRANS child and a WIFE that is BISEXUAL. I would never judge any of my family members based on skin color, religious beliefs, or who they do or do not have sex with. Judging someone on ANY other level, outside of the way they treat other people is just another form of bigotry and dressing it up as anything else is only pretending to value people when you are really passing judgment on them. Stating that you love someone for being gay or trans or black or white or brown is NO DIFFERENT than hating them for it. Using sex or skin to pass judgment on ANYONE, good or bad is just showing a mental illness that the person judging should really get help with. People should be decent for the sake of decency, not assume they are good or bad for any other reason! This society is spinning down a dark dark hole and calling it elevation. Putting new labels on something does not change what that something is. WAKE UP!!
