This is not a film. It is an erroneous collection of unrelated and inconsequential events hardly stitched together through uninspired, disinterested and lackluster performances. With no stakes, zero drama and negative charm. It begs the question why did they even begin to make a film when clearly the script was half finished? The structure was half baked and the cast was completely misaligned with the intent of the game.
What is clear is that the writers had a point when they were striking around the use of artificial intelligence in the making of movies. The mechanical dialogue and the concrete lack of stakes can only be justified through the use of egregious chatGPT usage.
The only real achievement of this film is to somehow make 90 minutes I feel like 900.

This film has clearly divided people - like all good art should, but I am happy to say I am on the side of those who loved it.
This is a gritty tale, no doubt about it. But I found a grim black humour and a core pillar of redemption running throughout this film that I found inspiring.
The casting, of the characters particularly Irena Ivanova, was perfect. Her carefully observed stillness and expression held the narrative perfectly throughout.
The story itself was uncompromising, but I felt it left enough room for hope through redemption. In Godless redemption doesn't mean happily ever after, but perhaps that the world has a way of evening itself out.
