Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), based on Rudyard Kipling's timeless stories and inspired by Disney's classic animated film, The Jungle Book is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who's been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he's ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don't exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johansson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.

This is a terrific must see movie. No wonder it has been achieving unprecedented massive success everywhere.

I enjoyed this movie and found it fantastic. Unfortunately these days massive advertisements could make a bad movie sounds great and the main problem with this fantastic movie is that it is not promoted by a Giant Film Company. The story of smart babies fighting evil people is something significant today. Most children have been seeing all kinds of evil from : abuse,neglect,poverty,war,violence and indifference from one side of parents. Honestly, I really liked all the sequels of Baby Geniuses and I don't know why critics have to be extremely harsh in their criticism. Please let the children themselves decide if this movie is bad or good. All I know is that there is no violence in this film nor there is any rebellious children against their parents. It is a sweet comedy-adventure movie that deserves to be watched and appreciated.

The movie takes place on Bird Island, an untouched paradise inhabited by birds who are naive and innocent. These good birds know nothing of the outside world. They treasure eggs above all else, and are all carefree and easygoing, except for few. One of these birds is Red, a societal outcast who has had anger issues from the very beginning. Eventually, his outbursts become too much and he is sentenced to anger management courses, where he meets other misfit birds with similar problems.

The birds are suddenly visited by green pigs, who are dumb but funny. The birds and pigs quickly befriend each other, but Red does not trust the pigs at all. Ultimately, the pigs reveal their true colors, and leads to Red leading the entire flock in a "maddening" frenzy of rightful revenge as well as finding the right means of dealing with rage.

Everything about this movie is impressive . I can guarantee you this great movie will make you happy.
