Sorry, but I couldn't finish it. I waited 45 minutes for something to happen but decided that nothing was going to happen and I needed to relive the boredom by turning it off.
Was it supposed to be satire? Comedy? Drama? I really don't know what we were meant to feel because I felt nothing. You would think it entire Possible to find something of interest in the meeting if the G7 leaders so to make a film so uninteresting takes a special talent. The highlight was the British Prime Minister (I think that was the role but could be wrong) anyway - he fell asleep and that was more interesting than the rest of it.

Immediate comparisons to the Hollywood show "The Rookie" which is a somewhat ridiculous show partly because the rookie is the lead in all things and the crime world somehow revolves around the rookie. The same thing occurs in this Canadian production. The rookie solves all crimes and seemingly needs no training at all. So, it's silly from that point of view. Exactly the same storyline's could have been used with a seasoned veteran and would have made more sense.
The upside is that it's well made and well acted so it is certainly watchable. It does look like it will rise above a certain bland level but it'll occupy you pleasantly for an hour or so.

We all love Tom Hrdy and Timithy Olyphant but this one they did strictly for the money. A million bullets that can't kill the good guys interspersed by an occasional line of dialogue.
There is an endless supply of henchmen for the really bad mafia mum. All of them apparently perfectly willing to throw themselves into gunfire and blades so that we get lots of blood.
The nuance seemed to be exactly how much of a bad guy is Tom Hardy? But put up against a raft of badder bad guys he comes out nearly clean.
Nice role for Jessie Mei Li as the only good cop. She gets to perform miracles and of course miracles are not very realistic. Still she comes out of it well.
