What can I say...

I was suckered into buying this piece of crap that featured a Wayan brother, naturally I should've guessed it would be awful. First off, it's price tag was 1 Euro which is awfully cheap and to be honest the advertisements on the casing was... OH MY GOD. Secondly when I bought it, the store clerk and his friend told me that it's better I bought another movie instead of this one... I refused. Now for the third part which we're finally going to talk about the movie, it's like watching a man pointlessly talking to himself. The acting was fake, the highlight of the humor was about homosexual boybands, the plot is such a knock-off and I felt empty at the end. It's like waiting for a joke that's never gonna show up only to realize the joke's on you, the ranting about rappers or color of skin or where you come from makes this movie nothing more than a big lecture. I was fooled and I believe many others were too, anyone believing this to be a reasonable movie should really need to understand one thing.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A COMEDY MOVIE!

I have so much more to say why this movie is so bad that I wouldn't mind killing moi if I had to see it again another 50 times. If you use crack or any other drugs buy this crap, otherwise avoid it like the plague, poke your eyes or throw it out in the trash can.

Well I came expecting this part of the mummy to bomb due to the fact that the old cast has been almost entirely replaced. And really, the second part in my honest opinion already gave me an idea that this was going to be only a CGI action packed movie with no plot.

But...

To my surprise it really had some more depth than the previous sequel which had only chewed on the first plot of the movie as much as possible. The romance from the first original movie came into play and the action scenes and chases were bearable to watch. And although I was displeased with the chemistry between Fraser and Bello I noticed that it didn't matter because they're supposed to be older. They're love hasn't died it's just gotten to the point where their friendship has taken over more, their passion has faded a bit.

Now I'll talk about what I didn't like.

Well of course we have a movie that consists a lot about the flashback of how Jet's character became a mummy, which is very long. The CGI was so annoying to watch because you knew it wasn't going anywhere. (Undead vs undead and Childish yeti's.) Jet's character doesn't get good screen time either where he gets to show some hatred or fear towards the main characters. Perhaps because of the fact that the previous mummy did in the first 2 sequels, which of course might have influenced my judgement. The dialog for the actors were pretty silly at times, specially those of John Hannah's which were really redundant.

Why do I give it a six?

Well there are so many movies that really do only Clichés 24/7 and rip off lines from other movies, this one however tries not to. And I've only knit picked some mistakes but the others I don't mind because they're above the standards of what I expected from it. This however isn't a worthy sequel just like the 2nd and I'll give the 6 for adding romance that I found equally as good as the first movie.

And the all mighty Pyron who seeks someone to fight with that is capable of giving him the greatest rush of his life!
